3) OPINION

The name Antennata possibly is an oldest name exactly matching in citcumscription the taxon which unites Myriapoda + Hexapoda. But the same name is used in literature in other meanings also; particularly, Börner (1909, 1920) used it for the taxon uniting all Euarthropoda except for Chelicerophora - i.e. Trilobitomorpha + Eucrustacea + Myriapoda + Hexapoda. The true authorship of the name Antennata is not clarified: we assume that it is Lang 1888, only because could not find an older source. In order to avoid confusion, for the taxon uniting Myriapoda + Hexapoda should be used the yanger name Atelocerata, as it is surely matching in original circumscription and was always used in this meaning only.
